by Tavolino
A savory, vegetarian grilled side dish made of feta, fresh tomatoes, onions, and aromatic garlic, prepared in a grill tray directly on the grate.

Ingredients
- Feta cheese 400 g
- Garlic cloves 8 pieces
- Olive oil 6 tbsp
- Tomatoes 2 pieces
- Onion 1 piece
- Spring onion 1 piece
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Preparation
- 1
Brush an aluminum or stainless steel grill tray with a portion of the 6 tbsp of olive oil.
- 2
Finely chop about 3 to 4 of the 8 garlic cloves and distribute them evenly over the bottom of the grill tray.
- 3
Cut the 400 g of feta cheese in half lengthwise and crosswise so that a total of 8 pieces are created.
- 4
Place the feta pieces into the prepared tray and brush thinly with a little olive oil.
- 5
Carefully season the cheese with salt and pepper, keeping in mind that the feta is already salty.
- 6
Slice the 2 tomatoes and arrange them on top of the feta pieces.
- 7
Finely chop the 1 onion and the remaining garlic cloves and distribute them over the cheese.
- 8
If desired, cut the 1 spring onion into fine rings and add them to the tray as well.
- 9
Drizzle everything with the remaining olive oil and seal the grill tray tightly with aluminum foil.
- 10
Place the feta pan on the grill for approx. 10 minutes, ensuring you use indirect heat.
